BEST WESTERN CENTER POINTE INN AWARDED DIRECTOR’S AWARD

Mr. Gail Myer, VP of Operations for Myer Hotels, accepts the Best Western Director's Award at the Colorado Springs Best Western meeting

Branson, MO – The Best Western Center Pointe Inn is recipient of the Best Western Director’s Award following its Spring 2006 inspection. The Director’s Award is an honor designed to recognize those Best Western properties that epitomize the chain’s commitment to quality and is bestowed upon Best Western Hotels that have met established criteria, including a required inspection score, as part of a property assessment.

“The Best Western Center Pointe Inn’s staff truly did an outstanding job to receive the Director’s Award,” noted Jon Holloway, General Manager of the hotel. “With stricter guidelines recently implemented, Best Western has increased their inspection requirements. Everyone at the hotel made an exceptional effort to guarantee we obtained the required points to receive this honor.”

The inspection scores the Director’s Award are based on focus on three top guidelines: cleanliness, hotel appearance and overall guest satisfaction. Other factors evaluated include amenities, functionality of the hotel and knowledge of staff members. On this inspection, the Best Western Center Pointe Inn Housekeeping Department received a perfect score in cleanliness.

“The inspector couldn’t find fault with the Housekeeping Department’s abilities,” Mr. Holloway stated. “With such seamless efficiency the Best Western Center Pointe Inn has established itself as an outstanding hotel where guests are guaranteed clean, comfortable rooms and great service.”

The Best Western Center Pointe Inn is ideally located in the center of Branson’s entertainment area directly across from Legends Family Theater and adjacent to the new Titanic Museum Attraction. There are several additional theaters, attractions and shopping outlets within walking distance of the hotel. Dining options also abound: along with the hotel’s free deluxe continental breakfast, Montana Mike’s Steakhouse is on premises and several other top restaurants are within walking distance.

In the lodging business for 39 years, the Myer family has actively contributed to Branson’s hospitality market for over 22 years and received numerous national awards.
