Branson, MO – Mr. Jeff Daniel of Comfort Inn at Thousand Hills’ Maintenance Department was named 2005 Firefighter of the Year for Firehouse #7 of the Western Taney County Fire District. This honor was bestowed upon Mr. Daniel for his outstanding performance as a newly certified volunteer firefighter.
“We are delighted with Jeff for this excellent accomplishment,” noted Bob Williams, General Manger of Comfort Inn at Thousand Hills. “Having an emergency responder on staff is an invaluable asset.”
To become a firefighter for Firehouse #7, which is District Headquarters, Mr. Daniel was required to meet specific qualifications and successfully pass the certification examination. Having done so, he is currently undergoing the process of becoming a Firefighter Specialist, which is the next level of certification.
“Jeff is truly a dedicated, hard-working individual,” observed Mr. Williams. “Being named 2005 Firefighter of the Year is further evidence of his diligence and excellent attitude. Jeff has been a member of our staff since 2000 and was awarded Perfect Attendance in 2005. We are thankful to have him with us at Comfort Inn at Thousand Hills.”
